Brief 2 - 3D Object with an A3 key
For the second brief of this project, I created a 3D data object along with a poster key (that explains the data) upon which the object will be placed. The poster key has also been created on Adobe Illustrator and printed on a risograph printer.

The object displays the top 10 countries that had the highest number of measles cases in 2018. Its shape is supposed to resemble that of a molecule to symbolise the virus that’s injected in us during a vaccination. Each strand coming out of the ball in the middle has a ball attached to it and the size of that ball varies depending on the number of cases in that country.

The poster key explains the data that’s represented in the3D object. It shows which country has the largest or smallest number of cases which then makes it almost interactive for the user to figure out where each part of the 3D object will go on the key. The data object has been created on the Blender software and 3D printed and the poster key has been printed on the risograph.
