Penguin Book Cover Redesign
This was my designed entry for the Penguin Student Design Awards for the book ‘A Short History of Nearly Everything. After having various initial ideas, it was difficult to narrow it down to something that could encapsulate the themes in the book and clearly tell readers what the book is about.
Many interpretations later, I was able to bring together this final idea. This idea allows for the cover to look minimal while there still being something on each aspect of the cover. For this idea, I illustrated the DNA structure and the dinosaur icons using Illustrator and created the galaxy backdrop digitally in Photoshop.
